The Job:

We are currently working alongside one of Ireland's most successful semi-state bodies at a crucial time for them. The successful candidate will support the Section Manager in Planning to ensure excellent monitoring and evaluation within the organisation. This role focuses on aiding the development, delivery, and implementation of strategy. It involves providing high-quality and relevant data and analysis, and surveys.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Section Manager, Divisional Manager, and wider Corporate Strategy & Planning and Strategic Policy teams by providing high-quality information, research, analysis and strategic planning
  • Assist in preparing and delivering the annual results paper to the Executive Committee.
  • Establish, maintain, and manage relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally, including representing the organisation on the quarterly cross-agency steering group on surveys.
  • Conduct analysis on the risk profile of clients with permanent employment of over 50, leveraging insights from the Client Development Process (CDC) and Salesforce.
  • Provide information to third parties for international rankings
  • Coordinate, manage, and respond to information requests from Executives efficiently.
  • Support the Section Manager in utilising existing and emerging technologies, in collaboration with IT, to optimise the use of data in supporting research and analysis.
  • Ensure dignity, respect, and equality are upheld within and outside the organisation, supporting work-life balance as much as possible in the workplace.
  • Undertake continuous learning and development through informal and formal learning and participation in the Performance Management and Development Review Process.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in undertaking additional tasks that may arise or are assigned to this role.

Requirements:

  • A third level qualification, to minimum of degree level recognized on the National Qualification Framework and relevant business experience is essential.  
  • Numerically competent and an ability to work with Excel, Power BI and Salesforce.
  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • A full current driving license is preferred. 
  • Ability to work well under pressure, to meet tight deadlines and to work flexibly and independently on own initiative. 
  • Ability and flexibility to undertake International and domestic travel. 
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard office hours when required.
