The Job:
We are currently working alongside a family owned chemical manufacturing company based in Dublin to hire a Supply Chain Manager join their organisation. The company operates state-of-the-art production facilities and laboratories, ensuring formulations meet international standards and handles registration, manufacturing, and distribution throughout Europe and beyond.
You will be responsible for the end to end supply chain process and manage an existing team of 5 people. This is a hybrid role that offers 3 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and manage master data, including design, setup, and change control assessments.
- Interface with planning groups to translate demand into an executable production plan.
- Plan and allocate DS and DP, manage bulk demand from bulk sites, and handle Weight Allocation Forms with sites.
- Manage MRP for supply and demand.
- Execute production orders and material transfer orders in SAP.
- Issue and approve purchase orders.
- Review and approve invoices.
- Create and manage master data, including design, setup, and change control assessments.
- Determine order policies, including quantities, delivery timing, and safety stocks.
- Forecast to vendors and internal sites.
- Manage purchase orders with vendors and internal sites.
- Address issues with vendors and internal sites.
- Schedule shipments with shipping sites, receiving sites, and raw material vendors.
- Support the creation of official Shipping Lanes for GMP product shipments.
- Lead shipping readiness meetings with shipping and receiving sites as needed.
- Ensure activities comply with GxP and company procedures, documenting them according to requirements, including assigned training.
- Develop and deliver reports, presentations, and recommendations to executive audiences.
- Serve as a Supply Chain resource and representative for special projects and initiatives.
Requirements:
- Established expertise and knowledge of manufacturing Supply Chain and associated processes
- Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills with experience in leveraging data from systems
- Determined ability to form relationships, collaborate and influence across a the organization
- Ability to effect change and build consensus on definitions with groups of individuals
- Proven ability to lead multiple projects and to be accountable for individual results
- Organized and achievement oriented to continuously drive performance
- Experience in ERP environments
- Digital mindset and interest in growing digital capabilities within our organization
- Experience in regulated manufacturing or supply chain setting
- Demonstrated experience in a continuous improvement role utilizing tools, methodologies and change management (i.e. Lean, Six Sigma)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively engage diverse stakeholder groups and manage projects with multiple, cross-functional deliverables
- Proven communication and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated strong analytical skills, business acumen and risk management
