As a Process Lead, you will manage shift production activities, oversee a team of skilled operators, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to maintain Abbott’s exceptional standards of quality, efficiency, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical and maintenance issues to minimise production downtime on your shift.
Maintain and ensure compliance with all maintenance and operational records in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Identify and implement process improvements to optimise equipment efficiency and system performance.
Lead and support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives while fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Manage and coach your shift team to achieve key department metrics, ensuring alignment with Abbott’s operational goals.
Conduct performance reviews, address team development needs, and motivate shift team members to excel.
Ensure adherence to 6S standards across operational areas, promoting a safe and productive working environment.
Oversee training compliance to meet ISO requirements and ensure the team is equipped to meet evolving business demands.
Key Requirements:
A degree or diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role, preferably within the medical device or pharmaceutical sector.
Strong knowledge of Continuous Improvement (CI) methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Proven leadership skills, with experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on driving results and team collaboration.
