We are working with a well-established company in the manufacturing industry based in Castletownbere, Cork. As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced Office Administrator to join their team. This position can be worked on part-time or full-time hours and will suit a self-starter who works well on their own initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee purchase requisitions for stock and non-stock items, ensuring timely processing.
Quarantine incoming deliveries until quality inspection is completed and documented.
Receipt all goods inwards within 24 hours of arrival on-site.
Provide support in the development of minimum stock levels and reorder quantities, conducting stock takes and resolving discrepancies.
Process internal stock transfers and report material issuance for job costing.
Manage the order-to-cash process, including sales desk operations, customer account setup, and order updates.
Manage active sales orders to ensure they are kept updated and canceled if they are no longer valid.
Handle cash reconciliation, timely bank lodgments, and participate in credit control meetings.
Assist customers professionally, addressing queries and providing support as needed.
Requirements:
Previous relevant experience in an administration role.
Self-starter and works well on own initiative.
IT proficient – MS Office and familiarity with accounting systems is a bonus.
Good communicator and team player.
