Our client, a leading global pharmaceutical company, is currently recruiting a Manufacturing Team Lead, to join their team in Sligo on a permanent contract. This is a night shift position.
As a Manufacturing Team Lead you will oversee and supervise the execution of equipment preparation in our Biologics department including area preparation, material transfer and support processing activities in the biologics fill finish facility to meet clearly stated operating objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the operations team, ensuring adherence to safety, regulatory, and operational requirements.
Drive operational efficiency, quality, and compliance.
Prioritise safety, conduct safety Gembas, and ensure adherence to EHS standards and regulations.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and participate in audits.
Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
Requirements:
BSc Level 8 in relevant discipline (Science, Engineering).
Minimum 2 years leadership experience in a similar role within a GMP Environment
Knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to this role.
Comprehensive understanding of the principles of contamination control and regulatory expectations for aseptic processing.
