Our client, a well-established multinational has an exciting opportunity for a Dispatch Operator to join their Sligo team on a permanent contract. This is a Monday-Friday Day shift position.

As a Dispatch Operator, you will be responsible for the following:
- Ensure outgoing parts are to specified dispatch instructions.
- To have a thorough knowledge of standard operating procedures associated with the job.
- Observe the safety rules in the factory.
- Have a proper attitude and be efficient in the required standards of performance as directed by the Supervisor.
- Understand and safely operate all equipment.
- Reports and/or corrects unsafe working conditions
- Follows all company methods and procedures in order to comply with IATF 16949, Environmental standard ISO 14001 and Occupational Health and Safety System ISO 45001.
- Correct shipping and storing of all finished goods.
- Offloading of all deliveries of Trucks/couriers.
- To follow all written instructions and standard operating procedures.
- Dealing with customers, customer service, hauliers and production personnel.
Ideal background:
- Forklift drivers’ licence is essential.
- Experience in a Warehouse Environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to work well within a team environment.
- Strong communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
