We are looking to speak with experienced Warehouse Operators for our client a Medical Device Organisation based in Athlone who are now hiring. This is a 12-month contract we are looking for operators with warehouse operative experience.
This will be a days only position.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy of items received against packing slips or purchase orders.
- Utilize the ERP system to record incoming inventory and update inventory levels accordingly.
- Store incoming materials in designated storage areas and maintain organized inventory shelves.
- Retrieve items from inventory as requested by production or shipping departments.
- Prepare items for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling orders accurately.
- Use ERP system to generate shipping labels, packing slips, and other shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, and shipments.
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 months experience working in a warehouse required ideally within a Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Food related industry.
- Experience using ERP systems for inventory management and reporting preferred.
- Ability to read and comprehend operator instructions.
- Reach Truck/Forklift license desirable.
