Role Overview:
As an Electrical Site Inspector, you will ensure the quality and compliance of electrical installations across various projects. Your role involves conducting site inspections, monitoring installation standards, and collaborating with design engineers to maintain technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform site inspections to assess electrical installation quality and compliance.
- Attend technical meetings and coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to design specifications.
- Develop and implement inspection plans with the design team.
- Review and verify technical submittals from contractors.
- Identify and report deviations from design specifications and industry standards.
- Prepare detailed reports on project progress and installation quality.
- Ensure compliance with IS 10101 National Rules for Electrical Installations and relevant building regulations.
- Assist project engineers in resolving technical queries.
- Ensure all electrical work aligns with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in surveys and evaluations for current and future projects.
Requirements:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technician qualification, or Senior Electrical Trades qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial and industrial electrical installations.
- Strong knowledge of IS 10101 National Rules and relevant building regulations.
- Experience in site supervision and electrical project management.
- Proficiency in reviewing technical submittals from contractors.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, Teams, and related software.
- Experience with Navisworks is advantageous but not essential.
