Our Client, a Leader in supplying the Irish Polymer Marker for over 30 Years, are currently looking to hire a Field Service Engineer to support their client sites in Ireland.
The successful candidate will be involved in installing, calibrating, and servicing injection moulding machines and ancillary equipment.
Job Responsibilties:
- Carry out installation, maintenance, and servicing of machinery and associated equipment.
- Specialize in electrical maintenance and system diagnostics for injection moulding machines.
- Perform machine fit-outs, including necessary electrical and mechanical modifications.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical and electromechanical faults on-site in collaboration with customers and machine manufacturers.
- Conduct machine calibrations per customer maintenance schedules.
- Carry out equipment health checks and generate detailed condition reports.
- Coordinate with the scheduling team to efficiently manage workload and ensure necessary resources are available.
- Engage with customers both remotely and on-site to understand their specific needs and provide technical guidance.
- Assist in specifying and procuring electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical components.
- Prepare and approve necessary documentation and reports upon job completion.
- Maintain strict adherence to all relevant electrical and industrial safety standards, as well as customer safety requirements.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Level 6 qualification in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- At least 3 Years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, specializing in the maintenance and troubleshooting of plastics machinery.
- Strong ability to read and interpret both electrical and mechanical schematics.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, including expertise in root cause analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Sound understanding of industrial safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with personnel at all levels of the business and with customers.
