Warehouse Supervisor

Our client, a rapidly growing manufacturing company based in Offaly, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a warehousing professional with strong stock control, ERP, and leadership experience to take on a hands-on role in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in stock control, inventory management, and order fulfilment.

  • Implement and manage stock control procedures, including cycle counting and inventory reconciliation.

  • Maintain and update inventory records in SAP, ensuring accuracy and efficient stock usage.

  • Plan and manage shipping schedules to ensure on-time delivery and minimal delays.

  • Lead, manage, and motivate the warehouse team, ensuring productivity, adherence to safety procedures, and continuous improvement.

  • Operate and oversee the use of forklifts and other warehouse equipment, ensuring safety and compliance.

  • Work closely with production, supply chain, and logistics teams to optimize warehouse workflows.

  • Ensure adherence to health & safety standards and compliance with company policies.

  • Identify areas for improvement and contribute to warehouse process optimization.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

  • Strong background in stock control, cycle counting, and inventory management.

  • Experience using SAP (or similar ERP system) for stock management and reporting is essential.

  • Ability to manage and coordinate shipping schedules effectively.

  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work on the floor when needed.

  • Experience leading and managing teams, with strong people management skills.

  • Forklift driving experience and a valid forklift license.

  • Highly systems-oriented, with the ability to analyze data and improve warehouse processes.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment with a proactive approach.
