Supply Chain Planner

Supply Chain Planner required on contract for a Sligo based multinational.  12 month contract.

Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)


As a Supply Chain Planner, you will manage the demand and supply planning for a defined product group, ensuring the availability of quality products at the right time, place, and quantity. You will be responsible for financial and inventory management, supporting both internal and external customer requirements, and ensuring seamless operations at the manufacturing site.


Responsibilities

  • Demand & Supply Planning: Ensure the availability of quality products in the right time, place, and quantity for a defined product group.

  • Financial and Inventory Management: Manage financial aspects and inventory for products under your remit.

  • Manufacturing Site Supply Plan: Develop and execute the supply plan for the manufacturing site.

  • New Product Integration: Collaborate with Project Management, Regulatory, Marketing, and Commercial teams to manage demand for new and ramp-up/down products.

  • Global Affiliate Support: Communicate with global affiliates regarding product availability, reservations, and special requests.

  • Order Management: Coordinate with manufacturing sites to ensure timely delivery of orders.

  • Reporting: Generate and maintain monthly/weekly reports and required KPIs.

  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement system and process improvements.

Requirements:

  • Third-level qualification, preferably a degree, and/or APICs or IIPMM qualification.

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, ideally in a regulated sector.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
