An exciting opportunity for an experienced Service and Installation Technician to join our client, an SME company based in Limerick City, Limerick on a permanent contract. This role will be based on a Monday-Friday week and will involve servicing clients mainly in the Limerick area (some travel to surrounding counties). This company specialises in security and fire protection, also the installation of electrical gates for both commercial and domestic clients.
Role Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and commission security systems, fire alarms, and electrical gates for domestic, industrial, and commercial premises.
- Ensure installations comply with relevant safety standards and company guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of security and fire protection systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair faults in security alarms, access control systems, CCTV, fire alarms, and automated gates.
- Maintain company issued equipment in good condition and fit for purpose. Report immediately any damaged, stolen or missing company issued equipment to your Service Supervisor.
- Ensure good timekeeping and housekeeping at all times, making sure you are setting the right example.
- Develop and maintain effective Client relationships and assist in gaining future work by relaying leads and survey information to the sales team.
Role Requirments:
- Diploma/Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics.
- Full Irish driving license.
- At least 2 - 5 years of experience in maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs is desirable.
- Previous field service experience is desirable.
