Our client are seeking a Quality Technician to join their team. This role will support quality assurance across production and process controls in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for quality issues in production, managing raw material and finished product holds.
- Investigate production issues, manage Non-Conformance Material Reports (NCMRs), and ensure effective and timely corrective actions.
- Create and maintain Master Samples, review PPS settings for new jobs, and approve QA-required reworks.
- Oversee work order reviews, product releases, and ensure accurate release documentation.
- Monitor and approve in-process controls and records to maintain product quality.
- Perform daily audits, update logs, and ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
- Conduct material testing, including BMS calculations and documentation of out-of-specification readings.
- Maintain quality documentation and records, ensuring accurate archiving and document control.
- Assist in reviewing product specifications from Product Engineering to ensure compliance.
- Support environmental monitoring and recording, contributing to overall plant quality standards.
Requirements:
- A qualification in Quality or a related field is desirable.
- Experience working in a quality-focused role within the medical packaging, healthcare, or regulated manufacturing industry is an advantage.
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
