Principal EIA Consultant
Location: Trim, Co. Meath or Oranmore, Co. Galway (Hybrid Working)
Are you an experienced Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) & Environmental Planning Consultant looking to take the next step in your career? The Role:
As a Principal EIA Consultant, you will:
- Lead and manage Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs) and planning applications.
- Oversee multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Provide expert guidance to clients in the renewable energy, food and drink, and industrial sectors.
- Engage with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with environmental legislation.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
About You:
- Degree/Master’s in Environmental Science or related field.
- 5+ years’ experience in EIA project management and the Irish environmental planning system.
- Ideally this person will be able to run EIA projects & project manage EIA projects from start to finish.
- A consultancy background is preferred but will also look at someone who has done this in house.
- Strong report writing, presentation, and analytical skills.
- Excellent project management capabilities with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- A proactive, solutions-driven approach with strong commercial awareness.
- Full, clean driving licence.
