People & Culture Manager - Hybrid - Sligo
As People & Culture Manager, you will be integral in providing our clients strategic-level leadership and direction to promote a positive work environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing policies and programs that impact an employee’s life cycle, including but not limited to, talent acquisition, culture, engagement, total compensation, benefit plans, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and compliance. You will be responsible for cultivating an accountable high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Promote employee engagement and foster a positive work environment throughout the employee lifecycle, from first engagement in the recruitment process to employee development and growth, through to departures.
- Design, construct, and implement Strategy to align Human Resource policies and programs.
- Develop, maintain, and implement People and Culture systems, processes, policies, and infrastructure that deliver the strategic objectives.
- Responsible for driving a team-wide, high-performance culture.
- Deliver and co-ordinate Induction Programme for all new employees.
- Coach leaders on people-related matters including talent assessment, development and succession and high-performing team dynamics.
- Oversee individual performance management that creates space for reflection and learning; facilitates regular self-assessment and peer and manager feedback; and supports personal and professional development.
- Enhance employee development and management throughout the year by providing coaching, mentoring, and timely feedback; execute a goal-setting agenda with 360 performance evaluations and oversee the Frankli formal performance review process.
- Manage rewards system and promotion process and criteria that recognise team members’ performance, growth, and contributions, defining clear career advancement opportunities across the team. Develop initiatives that are engaging, collaborative in design, and of a high standard to attract, retain, and build the capabilities of employees.
- Develop and oversee learning and development programs for the team overall and at the individual level. This will include the development of leadership capacity, interrelationship skills, and technical skills.
- Measure and monitor trends and the impact of key HR metrics and dashboards to drive HR needs planning.
- Proactively manage and resolve employee relations issues; ensure manager and employee compliance with company policies and procedures and all legislative requirements and obligations.
- Lead the development and implementation of a competency framework and development pathways for the team
- Spearhead and coordinate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging efforts.
- Create and implement an administrative framework for the team in line with global best practices and HR legislation, applied consistently and equitably across the team, including refreshing and furthering the implementation of a standard set of People Policies and Protocols.
- Lead and manage investigations, guide disciplinary actions, and collaborate with managers to address performance concerns and employee complaints. Advise management regarding appropriate strategies to encourage consistent discipline, and efficient productivity, and foster an environment that contributes to the overall success of the Company.
- Work with directors and managers on progressive discipline matters related to staff. Proactively advise and coach stakeholders on ways to effectively resolve employee relations and performance management concerns in alignment with company policy and legal requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor’s degree in human resources or similar.
- Coaching and mentoring certifications.
- A comprehensive understanding of Human Resource systems and processes.
- At least 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
- You have experience working at a senior level on a People & Culture Team.
