Maintenance Technician - Shift Work

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join a global electronics & medical equipment manufacturing site in the Midlands. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of Automated electro-acoustic lines to ensure the company's production plan and OEE targets are achieved.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform various complex machine operations that require close tolerance or high precision to produce specific parts of different products in line with quality standards.

  • Monitor machine output on the shift and ensure all cells are running to cycle time and meet specific OEE targets.

  • Reporting of status to the next shift in a structured handover, and as required to the supervisor/Manager or other relevant departments.

  • Carry out Scheduled Preventative Maintenance as required.

  • Ensure that health and safety are followed in the area and report any observations/issues.

  • Monitor and maintain the 6S Culture to target levels and lead by example to ensure production areas are maintained to the highest level of cleanliness.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years in Experience within an Automated Production Environment.

  • Third Level Qualification in a Relevant Engineering Course or QQI Level 6 Trade Qualification.

  • Experience in Pneumatics, Electronics, PLC's

  • Strong Communication Skills and ability to work as part of a team.
