Join a multinational medical devices manufacturer as a Maintenance Technician and play a vital role in maximizing equipment effectiveness. Reporting to the Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will provide essential mechanical maintenance support.
This is a shift role - Shift: Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm, Fri 7am-12pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute planned preventative maintenance (PPM) using the CMMS system (BMRAM).
- Perform maintenance on production equipment, covering both planned and unplanned tasks.
- Conduct root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Review and improve PPM procedures, managing updates through the Senior Maintenance Engineer and/or CMMS administrator.
- Contribute to achieving world-class equipment uptime (MTTR and MTBF) by analyzing downtime and OEE data.
- Collaborate with the Senior Maintenance Engineer and Value Streams to identify and implement permanent solutions for recurring equipment issues.
- Champion continuous improvement and innovation through lean thinking and Operational Equipment Excellence principles.
Qualifications:
- Third-level qualification in Automation Systems or Mechatronics.
- Working knowledge of FDA-regulated industries and GMP requirements.
- Experience using a CMMS (preferably BMRAM) in a maintenance role.
- 3-5 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Strong electrical/electronic repair and diagnostic skills.
- Proficient mechanical systems troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Experience in pneumatic fault finding and repair.
