Excellent opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer to join a global biologics company in the west of Ireland. The Maintenance Engineer oversees the operation and maintenance of plant equipment, utilities, and machinery, ensuring optimal performance and GMP/regulatory compliance. They must adhere to all EHS policies and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, customer focus, collaboration, and self-development within the team.
Overview of your responsibilities (full job description available on request):
Maintain machinery, equipment, and utilities to required standards, ensuring GMP compliance.
Perform installation, emergency, corrective, and preventive maintenance with or without supervision.
Complete PMs, update paperwork, and eMaint (CMMS) as scheduled.
Manage contractors/vendors on site, issue permits, and review reports.
Work with Operations, Quality, and TSA to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Ensure compliance with site SOPs, EHS, and legal standards.
Conduct breakdown and root cause analysis.
Assist project teams with specifying, installing, and commissioning equipment.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required for the Role:
Technical qualifications in mechanical or electrical disciplines.
10+ years' experience in maintaining chemical, HVAC/mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, control, and building management systems
3+ years in a GMP environment.
Experience in maintaining utilities, facilities, and production/process equipment
