Our client is an industry-leading inertial systems company offering high-quality, robust gyroscopes and accelerometer solutions across multiple industries. As Ireland’s largest space-related company and a global leader in inertial sensor technology, they are now seeking a Junior Systems Engineer to join their engineering team based in Dublin.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with system design, hardware testing, and documentation for space-grade accelerometer and gyroscope systems.
Perform environmental testing (thermal, mechanical load, EMC).
Develop and maintain technical documentation including test plans and compliance reports.
Support system integration and acceptance testing.
Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
Attend technical meetings and contribute to presentations.
Requirements:
2–3 years’ experience in systems or electronics engineering.
Degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of electronic schematics, sensors, and lab instrumentation (e.g., oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers).
Familiar with Python, LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, and C.
Understanding of system analysis techniques (FMEA, EMC, reliability).
Experience with ECSS standards or aerospace projects is a plus.
Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills.
