Our client, a leading company in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an IT Administrator to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in maintaining and developing IT infrastructure across multiple European locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless IT operations, implementing security measures, and contributing to process improvements within the organization.
Responsibilities:
Maintain, manage, and develop IT infrastructure across multiple locations.
Oversee network equipment, including firewalls, routers, switches, and servers.
Ensure the security of IT systems, including antivirus protection and remote access policies.
Support end users by troubleshooting IT issues and implementing solutions.
Develop and maintain IT documentation, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to optimize IT operations.
Manage IT projects and drive improvements in systems and processes.
Automate tasks and integrate systems to enhance operational efficiency.
Monitor and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.
Provide IT training and support to employees to ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 1 year of experience in an IT administration or support role.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 10/11, and Active Directory.
Experience with network administration, including VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls.
Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure.
Understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals, including endpoint security and MFA.
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam).
Experience with IT service management tools (e.g., Zendesk, Nagios).
