HR Business Partner- Ballymun/Hybrid. Initial 6 month contract.


An exciting opportunity has arisen within ourClient for an experienced Senior HR Business Partner.

This organization provides a comprehensive range of services and supports to individuals with disabilities and their families in a large urban area, operating across multiple locations in Dublin. It supports nearly 2,000 people, benefiting thousands of family members. The organiaation is funded by government health and education departments.

This senior leadership role is pivotal in shaping the future of the workforce, ensuring a positive employee relations environment, and supporting the strategic growth of the organisation.


Key Responsibilities: As Senior HR Business Partner, you will work closely with the Director of HR & Organisation Development, playing an instrumental role in:

  • Employee Relations (ER): Leading on employee relations activities, providing expert advice, and facilitating the resolution of complex ER issues in line with the legal framework.

  • Change Management: Championing change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and fostering a resilient and adaptable workforce.

  • HR Policy Development: Contributing to the development and review of HR policies and procedures to ensure alignment with best practices and legal requirements.

  • HR Service Delivery: Providing strategic advice and support to management and staff, ensuring HR services are delivered effectively and in a timely manner.

  • Workforce Planning and Performance Management: Supporting recruitment, retention, and workforce planning strategies, while driving performance management systems across the organisation.

  • Training and Development: Identifying training needs and promoting continuous development opportunities.

Requirements:

Essential Criteria:

  • Proven experience in Human Resources at a management level.

  • At least five years of relevant HR experience, ideally within a large health sector organisation.

  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, and conflict resolution.

  • Relevant third-level qualification in Human Resources or a related field.

  • Experience in managing HR teams effectively.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Public sector management experience.
