Main Purpose:

As a General Operative, you will be an integral part of the production team, supporting the smooth and safe running of the plant while maintaining high standards of excellence in your work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and adhere to the highest safety standards in all operations.
  • Support the Safety Coordinator and Plant Management on safety matters.
  • Uphold the company’s core values and culture.
  • Conduct inspections and perform general labour duties.
  • Operate machinery including loading shovels, forklifts, telehandlers, and other mobile equipment.
  • Assist with clearing blockages and cleaning spillages.
  • Support with plant breakdowns and assist in troubleshooting.
  • Implement the production plan in line with company policies and guidelines.
  • Take on other reasonable duties as required by your role.

  • Ability to work safely and accurately.
  • High standards of work and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
