Our client a leading provider of network build and maintenance services is seeking a Finance Analyst to support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and accounting activities. This role is ideal for a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong financial systems experience. Permanent role with Hybrid working 3 days onsite in Offaly, 2 days work from home.
Key Responsibilities of Finance Analyst:
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide performance commentary.
- Manage Balance Sheet reconciliations, tax accounts, and intercompany transactions.
- Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy in Sage 50.
- Support Finance automation projects to improve efficiency.
- Maintain the fixed asset register and record capital expenditure.
- Identify cost reduction and efficiency opportunities.
- Use Microsoft Excel for financial modelling and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Prepare and file tax returns.
Key Requirements of Finance Analyst:
- Part-qualified or recently qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA.
- Experience in a finance analyst or accounting role.
- Strong Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Knowledge of financial reporting standards desirable
