The position:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Design Engineer to support engineering teams by delivering high-quality design solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings for manufacturing.
- Design large components and assemblies using CREO, ensuring precision and functionality.
- Convert sales drawings into production-ready designs.
- Develop material handling systems, including conveyors, to meet project needs.
- Generate structural support designs and oversee seamless product integration.
- Conduct design reviews, implement value engineering strategies, and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Lead multiple engineering projects from initial planning through to completion.
- Work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to refine and optimize design solutions.
- Develop comprehensive design plans based on client requirements and project objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar design engineering role.
- Experience with CREO or SolidWorks (AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing to a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
