Overview of Responsibilities:

  • Cost Collection & Analysis: Build and maintain an accurate expense database, analyzing key trends.

  • Cost Control: Monitor and investigate variances to standard costs, ensuring optimal efficiency.

  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual cost forecasts to support strategic planning.

  • Financial Reporting: Present actionable insights through detailed financial reports.

  • Standard Costing: Manage standard costing processes using systems like SAP, including BOM reviews and activity rate updates.

  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance finance-related processes, particularly in material costing.

  • Reconciliation & Audit: Conduct account reconciliations and prepare comprehensive audit reports.

  • Strategic Guidance: Support customer pricing simulations and financial modelling with expert insights.

About You:

  • Qualifications: Professionally qualified (CIMA/CPA/ACCA/ACA).

  • Experience: 3+ years in cost accounting, ideally within manufacturing.

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in SAP and advanced MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).

  • Attributes: Detail-oriented, proactive, and driven to innovate.
