An exciting opportunity for a Design Manager to lead and develop a team of Design Engineers and Technicians within a growing fire protection engineering company. This role involves mentoring, training, and managing the design team, ensuring all projects meet industry standards while driving process improvements. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to drive innovation while developing a high-performing team. This is a permanent position based in Co. Westmeath.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the design team, overseeing multiple projects.
Ensure design compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Oversee Revit and BIM workflows to enhance efficiency.
Develop and implement design SOPs, manuals, and procedures.
Support recruitment, onboarding, and professional development of team members.
Coordinate project schedules and ensure timely design updates.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve design challenges.
Maintain LPCB standards and accreditation compliance.
Essential Criteria:
5+ years of construction design experience.
Proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows.
Min 2 yrs exp of team management experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
