Michelle Murphy | Director | Collins McNicholas

Michelle Murphy

Director

Michelle was appointed Director of Collins McNicholas in November 2015, having completed a Management Buy Out of the company with fellow Directors Antoinette O’Flaherty and Niall Murray. Soon after she commenced working with Collins McNicholas, Michelle took over responsibility for the busy HR division within the Galway office. Michelle has an MSc in Strategic Human Resource Management and a National Diploma in Personnel Management from the CIPD. Michelle is a Fellow member of the CIPD and has been heavily involved with the CIPD Western Region in Galway.

Michael O'Brien | Branch Manager | Collins McNicholas

Michael O’Brien

Munster & South East

A native Corkonian, Michael is Branch Manager of the Munster and South East region. Michael joined Collins McNicholas in 2014 and specialises in HR recruitment, as well as managing large-scale RPO projects (Talent Partner). He studied HR at the University of Limerick and, works with a diverse portfolio of clients across the Munster and South East regions. Michael's extensive expertise and industry knowledge have enabled him to source top-tier candidates for both SMEs and multinational organisations. He has a successful track record of sourcing high-quality candidates for a range of HR positions, including HR Director, HR Manager, HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development.

Caroline Macklin | Senior Occupational Psychology Consultant | Collins McNicholas

Caroline Macklin

People Consulting

​Caroline Macklin is currently an Interim Manager of the People Consulting Team at Collins McNicholas. She joined the team in 2011 and is responsible for providing assessment services, ranging from volume recruitment to executive search support, recruitment project management, training and outplacement. Caroline understands the importance of company culture and takes a consultative approach, working closely with her clients to understand their specific needs and requirements. Caroline holds an MSc in Occupational Psychology from the University of Nottingham and is certified by The British Psychological Society to carry out Levels A and B+ Psychometric Assessment (OPQ, 16PF and Dimensions personality profiling tools), as well as assessment centre design. She is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and former Chairperson of the CIPD Ireland Midlands Region.

Aideen is Recruitment Manager of the Sligo office and joined Collins McNicholas in 2006. Aideen specialises in HR, Accountancy & Finance and Executive Search recruitment in the public sector, multinationals and SMEs across the North West region. Senior Recruitment Consultant, Deirdre, joined Collins McNicholas in 2015, initially in the accounts department, but made a brave move into recruitment three years later. Deirdre is a results-driven individual who prides herself on fostering excellent client relationships and networking within her area of expertise.
