Senior Line Support Technician – Evening Shift

Location: Galway

Shift: 15:30pm - 12:00am (Monday – Thursday) and 14:00pm – 20:00pm (Friday)

We’re partnering with an innovative company in the medical device industry to recruit a Senior Line Support Technician for their Galway facility. Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive workstation and production line performance through effective management practices.

  • Maintain a strong online presence to proactively address process drift and ensure quality standards.

  • Lead daily Kaizen activities and projects to improve workflows and increase efficiency.

  • Support yield improvement initiatives and line stability projects, contributing to unit cost reduction.

  • Provide leadership as a Team Leader stand-in when required, while training and upskilling junior technicians.

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality and manufacturing standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams on new product introductions and automation projects.

  • Engage effectively with production teams to address material, process, and people-related issues.

Requirements:

  • A Level 7 or higher qualification in a technical, engineering, or science-related discipline.

  • Experience in a medical device manufacturing or cleanroom (CER) environment is a strong advantage.

  • Familiarity with catheters, stents, and GMP standards.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement practices.
