We are seeking a Senior Automation Engineer with proven experience in automation or commissioning within data centre environments. The ideal candidate will take on a key technical leadership role with a primary focus on two major sites in Denmark. You will work closely with our teams to deliver best-in-class Building Management Systems (BMS) and Power Monitoring Systems (PMS) – overseeing the installation, maintenance , commissioning, and ongoing supportof automation systems critical to high-performance data centre operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the installation, commissioning, and lifecycle support of BMS and PMS systems (PLC/SCADA-based) on data centre projects.

  • Provide technical support and guidance for automation system integration with Owner Supplied Equipment.

  • Liaise with internal project teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and system performance.

  • Act as the automation systems lead across data centre projects, offering oversight, troubleshooting, and advisory support.

  • Conduct system validation and performance testing to meet commissioning requirements.

  • Support knowledge sharing and mentoring of junior engineers where needed.

Essential Requirements

  • Strong background in automation systems engineering with specific experience in BMS and/or PMS (PLC/SCADA-based systems).

  • Minimum 5+yrs experience working on automation or commissioning projects, preferably within data centre, manufacturing, or high-tech environments.

  • Familiarity with FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) and SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) procedures.

  • Demonstrated experience in greenfield data centre builds and/or brownfield expansions.

  • Ability and willingness to relocate to Denmark or travel regularly to support projects as required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to operate independently and take initiative.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
