Sales Manager | Medical Device
Our client, an innovative high-tech MedTech organisation committed to improving human life and health through advanced materials and manufacturing science and technology, is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to help develop their client portfolio. This is a new venture into the Irish market for this organisation and thus provides massive opportunity for scale and growth within this position.
Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development and Execution
Develop and implement sales plans for the Irish market, ensuring alignment with the company's overall strategic objectives.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and formulate actionable plans.
2. Customer Relationship Management
Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key customers, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
3. Sales Target and Performance Management
Set and monitor sales targets to ensure timely achievement of company-assigned sales tasks.
Regularly analyze sales data, evaluate performance, and implement improvement measures.
4. Market Promotion and Brand Building
Plan and execute local promotional activities to enhance brand awareness.
Participate in industry exhibitions and conferences to showcase company products and expand business networks.
5. Team Management and Training
Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve team goals.
Provide professional sales training to enhance the skills and performance of team members.
Qualifications and other requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields preferred.
Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the medical device or B2B industry, with team management experience preferred.
Familiarity with the Irish market and extensive customer resources and industry connections.
Leadership and Communication Skills
Strong leadership, team management, and project management abilities, capable of inspiring and guiding teams to achieve high performance;
Excellent communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Fluent in written and spoken English; experience working in multilingual environments is a plus.
Adaptability to an international work environment, with willingness to undertake necessary global travel.
Passion for innovation and keen insight into industry trends.
Strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
