Our client, a leader in the food production industry, is seeking to recruit a Production Team Leader to join their team in Galway on a permanent contract.
Responsibilities:
Working as part of a team to support your colleagues in delivering on objectives.
Coordinating activities such as operating machines, production, processing, packaging and sorting.
Leading members of the production department.
Ensuring safety rules and procedures are followed.
Overseeing daily operations to meet specific goals.
Managing work schedules and staffing needs.
Planning production sequences to optimise productivity.
Assessing team member performance.
Requirements:
1 year experience as Team Leader / Supervisor in a food production environment.
Excellent people management skills and communication skills.
Flexibility in working hours as overtime will be required in peak times.
