Mechanical Applications Engineer - Medical Device Sector - German Speaking
Our esteemed client, a multinational manufacturer in the medical device sector, is seeking a Mechanical Applications Engineer to join their innovative team. Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Applications Engineer, you will:
Act as a technical liaison between the client and customers, advising on material selection and product configurations to meet specific application and performance requirements.
Provide technical presentations and updates to customers through both face-to-face visits and webinars.
Lead the identification, management, and prioritisation of customer projects and requirements.
Offer support and direction to internal teams, enhancing collaboration and efficiency across Customer Service, Engineering, Production, and Shipping departments.
Stay abreast of industry trends and product developments, leveraging this knowledge to identify new market opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction.
Facilitate value analysis and engineering projects, working closely with the Corporate Sales group and Product teams to achieve corporate goals.
Conduct detailed reporting and documentation to ensure effective project management and cross-functional collaboration.
Assist in product costing, quotations, and the analysis of failure modes, ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints.
Requirements
As a Mechanical Applications Engineer, you will require:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Materials Science, or equivalent.
At least five years of relevant industrial experience, preferably within the medical device sector.
Fluent in German and proficient in English, demonstrating strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management, office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
