Manufacturing Engineer

We are partnering with a leading company in the medical device industry seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to enhance and optimise their manufacturing processes. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, where you’ll lead critical process improvements and develop new manufacturing solutions. Responsibilities:

  • Implement process controls for reliable and repeatable manufacturing outcomes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency.
  • Utilise analytical and experimental approaches to improve equipment effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP, QA, regulatory standards, and Health & Safety protocols.
  • Lead and manage project timelines effectively, using project management principles.
  • Support new product and technology introductions, ensuring stability and capability.
  • Conduct risk assessments and resolve non-conforming product/process issues.
  • Execute validations and improvements using statistical and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Honours Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related Engineering field.
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Manufacturing Engineering role within the Medical Device or Healthcare industry.
  • Experience in catheter manufacturing is advantageous.
  • Proven success in implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of production line performance measurement.
