Our client a leading manufacturing plastics company based in West Limerick is looking to hire a Maintenance Electrician. This is a full-time, permanent role. Interviews are to take place promptly.
Role Requirements:
- Conduct wiring and panel upgrades to enhance equipment performance and safety.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including replacing motors, relays, contactors, and overloads.
- Thoroughly inspect and sign off machines electrically to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults to identify and rectify issues promptly.
- Responsible for contractors on site doing electrical work.
- Take responsibility for training and mentoring electrical apprentices to develop their skills and knowledge.
What the ideal Maintenance Electrician looks like:
- Level 6 Qualified Electrician with National craft card
- Experience in a working maintenance/manufacturing environment is required
- PLC Experience desirable
