Job Opportunity: Electrical Supervisor
The client is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to manage the electrical, instrumentation, and control aspects of projects at their cement plant. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient execution of electrical work, supervising contractors, and liaising with key stakeholders. Job Responsibilities:
Lead safety initiatives and promote a strong safety culture within the plant.
Supervise contract personnel, ensuring all safety systems and procedures are followed.
Plan, budget, and execute electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
Design and implement electrical infrastructure projects, overseeing work and resources as required.
Engage with key stakeholders throughout project design and execution, ensuring seamless delivery.
Work with suppliers and consultants to resolve technical issues and build external relationships.
Maintain and develop electrical documentation and drawings systems for all new projects.
Provide out-of-hours support for electrical issues when necessary.
Act as deputy for the electrical line manager during absences.
Undertake additional duties as assigned, aligned with the role's scope and responsibilities.
Job Requirements:
Qualified Electrician with a completed apprenticeship or equivalent certification.
Proven maintenance experience, preferably in an industrial or plant setting.
Strong technical expertise, including proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
Experience with instrumentation, controls, and Programmable Logic Control (PLC) systems.
Sound knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and standards.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a high degree of technical awareness.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with staff and senior management.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong team player who collaborates effectively with others.
