HRIS Specialist - Contract - 4 Day week - Sligo

Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive HRIS Specialist to support the implementation of a new Human Resource Information System (HRIS).  The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team, IT, and key stakeholders across the business to ensure the effective delivery of the HRIS project.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation of the new HRIS system, working with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely and effective delivery.

  • Map and review current HR processes and workflows, recommending improvements to align with best practice and system capability.

  • Support data migration activities, ensuring data integrity, accuracy, and compliance.

  • Develop and deliver system training and support materials for HR, managers, and employees.

  • Work closely with the HR team to integrate system functionality with existing HR policies and practices.

  • Ensure system configuration aligns with business needs, including reporting, workflows, and permissions.

  • Act as primary point of contact for the HRIS vendor and manage issue resolution and change requests.

  • Support change management and communication efforts to ensure successful adoption of the new system.

  • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting issues and optimising system performance.

  • Act a key influencer in the broader leadership team and actively network and knowledge share across the business unit.

  • Act as guardian of the Aurivo culture through actively promoting and role modelling our values, of Team, Trust, Will to Win and Value

  • Take ownership for driving best practice in HR and People Management and engage the team to deliver on their goals in accordance with these

Requirements:

  • Third level qualification in HR / Business / Project Management

  • Proven experience in implementing or managing an HRIS system.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data management, and system integration.

  • Excellent project management, organisational, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • High level of proficiency in Excel and other data-handling tools.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Excellent communication and training delivery skills.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in a multi-site organisation.

  • Familiarity with Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.

  • Experience with reporting and HR analytics.
