Our client, a multinational pharmaceutical company is seeking a an Intercompany accountant to join there RTR team. Based at our Shared Services Centre in Cherrywood Business Park, Loughlinstown, Co Dublin, you'll initially focus on intercompany functions for our German entity, with plans to expand the team's scope to encompass intercompany processes for all EMEA entities.
This is a permanent role, 4 days onsite with flexible hours.
Accountant responsibilities Include:
Accurate and timely reporting of intercompany transactions
Collaborating with global affiliates to resolve queries efficiently
Assisting in identifying root causes of aged balances
Prompt escalation of issues related to intercompany GRIR accounts
Managing month-end intercompany reconciliations and addressing discrepancies promptly
Providing reports and analysis to support the audit process
Supporting the German team in MEC activities initially, with a transition as the Intercompany COE team absorbs processes from other SSO entities
Assisting in the implementation of the Centre of Excellence team and training future CoE team members
Identifying and implementing process improvements
Cultivating relationships with intercompany CoE teams in other regions
Contributing to ad hoc projects as needed
Key Requirements for Accountant:
Previous intercompany experience, ideally within a Shared Service Centre or multinational corporation
Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA), either partially or fully completed
Familiarity with SAP an advantage
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Excel, with experience in PowerBi considered advantageous
