An exciting opportunity has come our way to join an established SME looking to bring on a Facilities Co-Ordinator on a Part-Time basis to join their Maintenance Department. Our client is based in Blackpool, Cork and this opportunity will be up to a 20-hour week Monday to Friday. This opportunity would suit someone with a background in facilities management, strong organisational skills, and experience working in a fast-paced environment.

This role is responsible for managing the maintenance schedule, coordinating with clients, administration, and maintaining accurate records on the database.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain the maintenance schedule for all ongoing and upcoming projects.

  • Prioritise tasks based on urgency and resource availability.

  • Communicate with the maintenance team to ensure schedules are adhered to and adjust as necessary.

  • Serve as the point of contact for clients, answering any queries and resolving issues, to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery to clients.

  • Maintain and update internal databases with accurate and timely information.

  • Ad-hoc duties as advised by management.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities management, or related role.

  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
