My client based in Ringsend, Dublin is seeking to hire an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join their experienced team on site.
The Engineering Project Manager will be involved in managing the programme of works for the in-house mechanical team consisting of fitters, fabricators, and operative delivering work on site and managing a programme of capital works upgrades on the site with blocks of works being delivered by external subcontractors
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Schedule and coordinate all mobile engineering team activities, ensuring alignment of on-site and off-site resources.
- Prioritize work requests, assign tasks, and manage work orders based on labor availability and project priorities.
- Assist in planning and executing the capital replacement program, overseeing project budgets and timelines
- Enforce Health & Safety standards for both site and design activities.
- Maintain up-to-date safety files as per IW specifications and integrate changes as required.
- Conduct regular field inspections and assess asset conditions to support safe and effective project completion.
- Manage a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative environment and building team cohesion.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 4 Years Experience in a similar Engineering Management Role.
- Third Level Degree in Engineering Fields.
- Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects
- Practical Health & Safety experience in both site activities and design assessment
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and effectively manage & coordinate site activities
