Job Title: Customer Service Rep
Main Purpose of the Job:
My client, based in Tullamore, is seeking a Customer Service Rep to serve as the primary point of contact between the company and its key customers. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships, understanding customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions to drive business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing multiple customer accounts while ensuring high-quality service delivery, contributing to overall business retention and growth. This is a Monday - Friday onsite position.
Responsibilities and Duties
Develop and maintain strong relationships with assigned customer accounts.
Build and sustain strategic relationships within the customer's decision-making units.
Understand key customers' needs and prepare customized solutions.
Align customer service management with business strategy to meet targets.
Compile forecasts and progress reports for the sales director and other stakeholders.
Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure customer commitments are met and keep customers informed on order status.
Provide professional quotations and implement marketing campaigns as scheduled.
Generate and deliver accurate and timely reports to customers.
Ensure internal and external communications meet the customer's requirements.
Understand and communicate product changes, availability, and regulatory updates to customers.
Develop and implement upsell activity plans, reporting progress and forecasts.
Translate market trends into actionable business growth strategies.
Continuously provide unique, customised solutions for long-term customer relationships.
Comply with all company policies, legislation, and maintain a professional manner.
Foster collaboration across departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
Promote a positive work environment, inclusive culture, and teamwork.
Requirements
Proven experience in customer service or a related field.
Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
Ability to understand customer needs and develop tailored solutions.
Ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously without compromising service quality.
Knowledge of market trends and the ability to translate them into business opportunities.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and other relevant software.
