You will assist in the management, delivery, and administration of site development, construction, and maintenance programs, ensuring alignment with organizational strategies and objectives related to property portfolio management.


This role is an ideal stepping stone for those interested in building a career with the public service with a strong interest property management or construction.


Permanent position Based in Athlone with hybrid working 3 days in the office or 2 days from home.


Key Responsibilities of Assistant Property Executive:


  • Assist with the portfolio management of business parks, including construction contracts, maintenance, and oversight of management agents’ activities.
  • Support the administration of estate management programs, including maintaining roads, services, buildings, and landscaping.
  • Facilitate procurement processes in line with public sector best practices and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations.
  • Oversee external consultants and agents to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services in line with organizational goals.
  • Assist with the tendering and management of construction upgrades and work with utility/service providers.
  • Regularly engage with stakeholders to resolve property-related issues.
  • Support the development and implementation of property solutions for clients, ensuring sustainability initiatives are integrated into the portfolio.
  • Assist with legal matters concerning deeds, rectifications, and boundary issues as needed.
  • Ensure all internal procedures and procurement regulations are fully adhered to.

Requirements:

  • A third-level qualification in property or engineering or related field Essential (Level 7 or higher).
  • Ability to work under pressure with relevant experience in property management or engineering projects.
  • Flexibility to travel nationally and work outside normal office hours

Salary Range: €29,439 to €55,209 per annum with potential increments based on performance and service duration. Candidates must start at the first point of the scale
