HR professionals from Cork & the South of Ireland attend Annual Employment Law Breakfast in the Maryborough Hotel, Cork

Over 100 business owners and HR professionals from local SME’s to large multinationals attended Collins McNicholas’ annual Employment Law Breakfast Briefing in Cork, hosted in conjunction with Alastair Purdy & Co. Solicitors.

The annual event, which was held on Wednesday 12th February at the Maryborough Hotel in Douglas, is hosted each year for HR professionals and business owners to assist them in addressing employment law issues at work, from employment equality and terms and conditions through to termination of employment and employees’ rights, as well as information on new and amended regulations and rates.

Collins McNicholas was the main sponsor of the event alongside keynote speaker and Labour Law expert Alastair Purdy.

Speaking at the event, Michael O’Brien commented:

"The work environment is constantly evolving and with this comes a need for HR professionals, people managers and business owners alike to be kept up to date and in tune with the ever changing employment legislation landscape. Alastair provided us with a fantastic overview of the legislative changes along with some interesting case law, and I’m delighted to see that the attendance at our annual Employment Law Event has grown year on year.”
