Senior Supply Chain Analyst

My client, a growing International manufacturing company, is looking to hire a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to support their Supply Chain & Procurement team. This role can be based in Cavan or Dublin. It is a full time, permanent role. They have a hybrid policy - 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The Senior Supply Chain & Logistics Analyst will play a pivotal role in managing logistics providers, procurement and inventory data, and sustainability initiatives in the organisation. The ideal candidate will have strong experience using SAP.

Responsibilities of the Senior Supply Chain Analyst:

  • Manage on-site freight operations with a focus on reducing costs and optimizing processes. Act as the primary internal contact for site-related issues. Provide group-wide reporting.

  • Lead inventory analysis and reporting efforts across the organization, collaborating closely with buyers to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency.

  • Support the Group Head of Procurement and Supply Chain in executing various supply chain projects, including the maintenance of SAP data and other data-related tasks.

  • Oversee the procurement of indirect goods and services, ensuring compliance with regulations and achieving cost-effectiveness.

  • Develop and monitor KPIs to facilitate the effective management of logistics, inventory, and data.

  • Foster strong partnerships across departments to promote best practices in supply chain management.

  • Lead and report on initiatives aimed at enhancing sustainability within the supply chain.

Requirements for the Senior Supply Chain Analyst role:

  • Minimum degree in Supply Chain or Business Management, or equivalent industry experience.

  • 3+ years experience working in a supply chain role in a manufacturing envioemrnt.

  • Ideally having experience with SAP, BI Reporting and strong experience with Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with 3PL service providers, including price negotiations and logistics management, is essential

  • Strong problem-solving skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to work under pressure
