Our client are currently seeking a Senior Project Engineer, in this position you will have the opportunity to involved in key projects, key capital projects for the business , You will have the opportunity to deliver engineering projects within an industrial production plant. We are seeking a motivated professional to join our dynamic team, where you’ll play a pivotal role in driving engineering excellence and innovation.

What You’ll Do

  • Project Management: Plan, schedule, coordinate, and deliver engineering projects efficiently and effectively, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

  • Collaboration: Partner with senior leadership, contractors, subcontractors, direct labour, and site management to meet engineering objectives.

  • Design & Development: Interpret client specifications to create accurate engineering designs, including electrical and pneumatic systems, motor sizing, and equipment routing.

  • Cost Estimation: Develop detailed cost estimations and source quality equipment and components from suppliers.

  • Field Supervision: Oversee on-site installations, carry out pre-commissioning activities, and resolve operational challenges to ensure timely delivery.

  • Quality & Reporting: Maintain accurate project records, adhere to quality standards, and submit detailed reports as needed.

  • Innovation: Conduct feasibility studies to identify improvements, focusing on reducing production costs and enhancing quality.

What You’ll Bring

  • Qualifications: A third-level engineering qualification or equivalent.

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a heavy industrial environment, with expertise in PLC controls, variable speed drives, instrumentation, and electronic motor protection.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Word, and Excel.

  • Attributes:

    • A proactive, can-do attitude.

    • Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

    • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
