Our Client, a leading national provider of electrical contracting solutions across various sectors including Commercial, Industrial, and Utilities is now hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team based in Omagh.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing cost estimation, budgeting, and procurement throughout our projects, starting from the pre-construction phase. Your expertise will be crucial in making informed decisions and setting strategic goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Procurement: Source materials and manage procurement packages.
- Budget Management: Prepare and monitor project budgets to ensure financial efficiency.
- Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and administer contracts.
- Cost Estimation: Estimate and manage costs for labor, materials, and equipment.
- Bill Preparation: Prepare bills of quantities for projects.
- Project Monitoring: Monitor project costs, report progress, and handle variations to stakeholders.
- Site Visits: Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with specifications. Travel to various sites will be required.
- Tender Management: Prepare and manage tender documents for selecting contractors.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quantity Surveyor role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and IT tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
