We are looking to hire an experienced Microbiology Trainer for our client based in their Galway facility. The successful applicant will play a key role in developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to new and existing analysts.

The Role: Training Program Development:
- Contribute to and implement robust training curricula for microbiological testing techniques, lab protocols, and industry standards.
- Provide input to training materials such as manuals, SOPs, presentations, and hands-on practice guides.
- Deliver training sessions to analysts in all aspects of pharmaceutical and medical device microbiology including, environmental monitoring, endotoxin analysis, bioburden, water testing, etc.
- Ensure analysts understand GMP/GLP practices.
- Evaluate trainee performance through practical assessments, exams, and observation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Level 8 degree, or a related field.
- Approximately 3 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory setting with good manufacturing practice experience.
- Ideally some prior experience in training, mentoring, or a supervisory role.
