An exciting opportunity for an experienced Manufacturing Technician to join our , a leading medical device manufacturer based in Fermoy, Cork on a permanent contract. The role will involve shift work and includes a shift premium.
Role Responsibilities:
- The Manufacturing Technician will maintain Production Test Equipment to maximise Quality, Output and Yield, in a High Volume Manufacturing Environment, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) Guidelines.
- The Manufacturing Technician will apply Root Cause and Problem Solving to troubleshoot Production Line Issues and optimise or repair Production Test Equipment quickly and efficiently.
- Execute Preventative Maintenance activities.
- Complete all documentation clearly and concisely in accordance with GDP (Good Documentation Practice) Guidelines.
- Liaise with Cross-Functional Teams to communicate and manage operational issues.Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects to drive Process Improvements and Efficiency in pursuit of Operation Excellence as required.
- Assist with the commissioning of new Production Test Equipment.
- The Test Technician will maintain appropriate stock of spare parts.
- Cross-Train new Test Technicians as required.
Role Requirements:
- NFQ Level 6 Qualification in Technology, Mechanical, Automation, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar (Qualified Trades Personnel with Industrial Experience will also be considered.)
- A Technical skillset of a mechanical/electronic nature.
- Availability to work shift patterns.
- Experience in a Regulated Manufacturing Environment.
