Our client, a leading company in the engineering and civils sector, is seeking a skilled Digger Driver to support a short-term project in Dunboyne. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a digger safely and efficiently on-site.
- Drive artic lorries as required for project needs.
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on machinery.
- Assist with general site tasks as directed by the site manager.
- Follow all site safety protocols and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with other team members on-site.
- Manage material movement and earthworks to project specifications.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
- Report any operational or mechanical issues to the supervisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Valid 360CS Ticket.
- Current Safe Pass Certification.
- Up-to-date Manual Handling Certification.
- Proven experience operating diggers and artic lorries.
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations on construction sites.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to adapt to different site tasks as needed.
