Job Opportunity: Design Lead in Fire Protection Systems
Our Client is an internationally recognized leader in fire protection systems, committed to excellence in engineering, designing, manufacturing, installing, servicing, and commissioning fire protection systems to all standards. They are looking to expand their team and are now hiring a Design Lead.
The Design Lead will support the Design team in enhancing our Design activities. The Design Lead will be responsible for leading, managing, coaching, mentoring, training, and supporting a team of Design Engineers to maximise their full potential,
Job Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and support a team of Design Engineers.
Oversee multiple design projects, ensuring quality and efficiency.
Resolve coordination and design roadblocks effectively.
Manage drawing standards and specifications.
Ensure compliance with LCBP standards and accreditation processes.
Develop and update Design SOPs, manuals, and procedures.
Track, monitor, and update the progress of all designs in project management systems.
Implement standard design tools to enhance project execution efficiencies.
Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and development of team members.
Promote and maintain a positive HSEQ culture and safe work environment.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 3 years of Fire Sprinkler Design Experience
Experience using Revit, AutoCAD/SolidWorks
Demonstrated skills in Project Management
LPCB - Basic, Intermediate, and FHC Exams are desirable but not essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Flexible, adaptable, and can-do attitude to work
Proven record of building and sustaining effective and professional working relationships
Excellent time management, attention to detail, and reliability skills
