Credit Control Team Lead

Credit Control Team Lead required for Ballinasloe Financial Services organisation with very strong experience in credit control, and team management experience. Managing a team of 4. Must be QFA qualified. Hybrid.


Reports to: CFO


Key Responsibilities:


Team Leadership:

  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to team members.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.

Credit Control:

  • Implement credit control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and support the management of credit risk exposure.

Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance and credit control functions.
  • Implement efficiency measures to streamline workflows.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other departments, risk management, compliance, and operations, to achieve overall organisational goals.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA)
  • 3rd Level Business Degree in a Finance related field
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a supervisory role
  • Proven experience credit control experience coming from a financial services background.
  • Proven people management skills.
  • Strong understanding of financial operations and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong IT skills particularly Excel
